Mine took a few rather unconventional turns.

My story begins in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. Growing up, I was fascinated by what the future might look like. Science fiction introduced me to computers, intelligent machines, distant worlds and possibilities that felt almost impossible. I wanted to understand how those things worked — and maybe help build some of them.

I thought science would get me there.
